Dr. Margo DelaGarza Psychotherapy and Counseling Services, Relationship Counseling and Family counseling
Dr. DelaGarza is the author of "Mindfulness for a Peaceful Existence".
My mission is to provide personalized, high-quality mental healthcare services on an as-needed or preventative basis. I have created a model of wellness that I believe in and that is based on empirical research and best-practices.
I work collaboratively with each client in order to provide informed, consistent care at all times.
The foundation of my approach is mindfulness.

I began my career in 1998, working with adolescents. Since then, I have provided mental
healthcare and psycho-educational services for individuals, couples, and families in a
variety of settings, including: nonprofit agencies, school districts,
hospitals, residential treatment centers, substance abuse rehabilitation centers,
and municipal and county courts.
I have extensive experience providing group and Individual sessions
for those experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma and substance abuse. I am
trained In Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I was trained as an Early Childhood Clinician for the Early Childhood Well-Being Project
and I am experienced in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.
I am certified in the Nurturing Parenting Program and I'm a
Trainer of Trainers for the 40 Developmental Assets.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I completed my undergraduate
and master’s degrees in psychology at the University of Texas at San Antonio and
my doctorate at St. Mary’s University. I have over 18 years of experience working with adults,
couples, adolescents and children.
